This PC-cleaning utility suffers from too many interface problems to earn our thumbs-up. Window Cleanser has two tabs, one for cleaning Web-surfing and system tracks, and one for various third-party applications, such as Kazaa, WinZip, and Real Player. However, unlike many competitors, this application forces you to download all plug-ins from the developer, who makes no guarantee as to their effectiveness. This wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but after acquiring several plug-ins, we could never figure out how to clean out the apps in question, because clicking on the tab labeled Plug-ins produces no results. When we were ready to begin deleting our Internet cache, URLs, and temporary files, we clicked the large icon labeled Clean, but nothing happened. Eventually we were able to clean our PC with another button, but we still can’t overlook those serious interface flaws. Window Cleanser also offers scheduled cleaning sessions, statistics, and a cookie manager. However because of the issues listed above, we’d suggest most users turn to something else until this program’s bugs get resolved.
