The unreliable and unattractive AVI/MPG Screensaver is yet another run-of-the-mill program for turning AVI, MPG, MOV, or WMV files into screensavers. You also can add soundtrack files, though only in WAV and MIDI format.

Incredibly, in our tests AVI/MPG Screensaver failed to work with AVI files. And for a shareware (as opposed to freeware) app, it offers far too few options, merely allowing you to set the playback order (random or sequential) and frame size. The interface looks utterly amateurish and doesn’t even let you add multiple video clips at once. In short, we don’t recommend it.
