The software installs quickly, and as soon as you open it, you’re ready to start making collages. You can add any photos on your computer to your collage by dragging and dropping them. You can also select from a large number of colorful and fun backgrounds to set the mood for your project or to enhance the theme of the photos.

In addition to adding backgrounds, this software lets you choose from 12 different border options for each of the photos in your collage. And you can easily resize, rotate, and rearrange each photo repeatedly and with ease. Text can be easily added, moved, and deleted, as well, in a variety of fonts and colors. One potential drawback to the Free Photo Collage Maker is that, in order to save your work, you do have to create and log in to an account on Viscomsoft online social galleries, although you do not have to publish your collages to the site when you save them.

This free application is the full-feature version, but it does come with banner ads across both the top and bottom of the screen. They can be a bit distracting, but as long as you can make the window you’re working in big enough, the ads won’t get in the way of your making lots of fun collages.
