iPubsoft PDF to GIF Converter is available as a free trial version with a 15-time usage limit; the full version requires a payment of $39.95. In addition, the trial version only allows part of the conversion to complete. The program downloaded quickly and the native installer placed it directly in the applications folder. Startup required acceptance of a user agreement. The interface design is easy to interpret despite the lack of instructions. Technical support appears to be available, but the responsiveness was not tested. Buttons at the top initiate menus for selecting files for converting and the destination for output. A large and easy-to-read start button begins the conversion. Once it’s selected, you also have options available for the page range. Additional features are lacking, which is a disappointment since iPubsoft PDF to GIF Converter for Mac is not freeware. The conversion itself completed quickly and the output file matched the original PDF.

Although it’s functional, the lack of additional features makes iPubsoft PDF to GIF Converter for Mac unattractive except for those few users with a need to convert large numbers of files.
