Epubor EPUB to PDF Converter for Mac can change the format of eBooks from the rather limiting EPUB to the more popular PDF. Fast and streamlined, it helps you quickly convert your eBook reader collection into a format easy to open on your computer, but it comes with an acute lack of conversion preferences.

Epubor EPUB to PDF Converter’s rather basic interface allows you to import eBooks either by selecting them through the app menu, or more conveniently, by dragging and dropping them into the main app window. You can import multiple eBooks and process them in batches, a feature which not all eBook converters offer. Once the EPUBs have been imported, the file path for each of them is listed in the main window, making it easier for you to ensure that you’ve imported the right files. The app offers no options or preferences for the conversion whatsoever; you just press “Convert” and that’s it. While there is supposed to be a drop-down menu for selecting an output device for PDF, this isn’t the case with the trial version. In its place there only appears to be a drop-down menu for the output format, which only lists PDF as an option. When we clicked to activate the drop-down menu, nothing happened.

The good news is that Epubor EPUB to PDF Converter delivers well-converted files that come with no noticeable problems. That makes this app a useful converter, though one that suffers from a lack of customization options. All in all, if you need a straightforward app for converting files, this app will do.

Not too bloated: Along the same lines, the software doesn’t offer unnecessary tools. Other apps in this category tend to offer entirely too many tools, which can eat up memory, take more time to navigate, and slow down your computer. ePUB to PDF Converter is a relatively streamlined tool that performs its advertised task quickly.

Cons

Lacks advanced features or interface: While the lack of excess bloat in the software is nice, it does hinder the overall power of this tool. Without support for more advanced conversions or some of the more detailed content that can be embedded in both ePUB and PDF files, the tool has limitations.

Bottom Line

If you are interested in converting ePUB files into PDF format and need a tool that can do it quickly and without too many options, this will do it. If you need a more powerful desktop publishing converter, there are other, better tools out there.
