Digital photography can be a lot of fun, but editing, organizing, and sharing your images can be a hassle if you don’t have the right software. JetPhoto Studio is a sleek tool that lets users manage their photos in an attractive, intuitive environment, turning a sometimes-frustrating chore into a fun and easy activity.

JetPhoto Studio’s interface is well-designed and easy to navigate, with its featured arranged in commonsense menus. Users can import photos from their computers or even directly from their cameras, a nice timesaving step. Once photos have been imported into JetPhoto Studio, there’s plenty to be done with them. Users can add location data to photos using GPS tracks, tag photos with keywords, and even see the dates photos were taken with a cool calendar feature. The program offers some basic editing tools, including resizing, cropping, and rotation, as well as controls for brightness, color, and contrast. We were especially impressed with the program’s photo-sharing features; users can easily create slideshows, a variety of different types of galleries, wallpapers, and more. The program’s online user guide is well-written and provides detailed information about each feature. Although JetPhoto Studio can’t handle heavy-duty photo editing the way a program like Photoshop can, we think it’s a great choice for basic image editing and manipulation.

JetPhoto Studio is free. It comes as a ZIP file and installs a desktop icon without asking, but it uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.

When returning from vacation, users often have large numbers of unorganized photos. JetPhoto Studio for Mac helps those users classify digital photos for display. The program works well but lacks more advanced functions.

Available as a basic, non-commercial, free version, JetPhoto Studio for Mac only requires a payment of $25 for professional and commercial users. Installation took place without any problems and finished quickly. Despite the lack of user instructions, the program’s interface was easy to use, especially for those who have worked with other photo managers. When creating new album directories, the program prompts users to drag photos into its main window. This is easily accomplished and the individual photos load quickly. Batches can also be uploaded. Each photo brings up a separate menu showing the date it was taken. If available, additional options exist for geotagging and GPS location of the photo spot. Working with photo metadata is also a welcome feature. Unfortunately, only the most basic editing functions, such as cropping and rotation, are possible in the application. More advanced features for altering photos would have been welcome.

While functional as a photo management program, JetPhoto Studio for Mac, with the exception of its geotagging and metadata features, lacks the advanced editing tools of other, more complete programs.
