Mac Free Any Date Recovery is a tool designed to help you recover lost data. Although you need to pay to get additional recoveries, the program comes with 20 credits to try and recover files. This is a great way to test out the software and see if it works for your purposes.

Pros

Obvious interface: When you fire up the program for the first time, you’re really only presented with two options. The first is a quick scan, and the second is a deep scan. This helps prevent the overwhelming options that present themselves in some more technical file recovery programs.

Speed of recovery: Running the quick scan operation was effective and speedy. It quickly found the file we wanted to restore and successfully recovered it. The entire operation took no more than a minute, and although the file was fairly small, the performance was still very effective.

Recovery from hardware: We also tested the app on recovering data from external hardware. On the device we tested it on, it was able to locate and recover previously deleted data.

Cons

Lacking help and support: We attempted to learn how to use the program more effectively, but there were no useful resources. Once you’ve installed the program, you feel like you’re on your own.

Bottom Line

If you’ve accidentally deleted something, this app is a great recovery tool. The free trial mode will let you see if you can successfully recover your files. If you can, it might be worth an investment in the full version, as it appears to be both fast and effective at file recovery.
