SpeakMyTunes for Mac reads aloud the title and artist of each song as it starts playing in iTunes. The app runs in the background and comes with a really impressive feature: the ability to customize the announcer’s voice and the phrase that is to be said. SpeakMyTunes for Mac doesn’t have a main window and resides in the Mac menu bar and optionally on the dock, as well. Ordinarily, the announcer talks over the track, but you may choose to pause playback until the announcer finishes. The voice, itself, is chosen from among the built-in system voices. You can even construct full sentences by adding words between tags.
