If you enjoy sending animated cards but distrust e-greeting sites, you might appreciate Ecardiy Christmas. Translation issues arise from the first use, which triggers a message box that exhorts you to “set before use it.” The wizard leads you through each step of creating a card from cheesy GIF and MIDI files. The trial version disables JPEGs, modifying of the message font, or adding a linked URL. Still, you get a good idea of how the program works. The generated cards don’t have volume control or a stop button. It’s a good thing the program saves your created cards to disc, because none of our trial e-mails attached properly.
