This software simply records keystrokes and mouse movements to help you automate basic input tasks. The spartan interface lets you quickly see all recorded and upcoming tasks. You can schedule AbcMover to perform actions at a specified time, and you can work with files in the batch mode. However, we found using this latter feature very inconvenient, as the program doesn’t provide a clear explanation as to how it works. You can change the speed at which the application plays back its screen recordings, and you can assign a program to run before executing a task. The program doesn’t take much memory when working in the background but it crashed in a few of our tests. AbcMover will do the job for simple automation tasks, but we don’t think it’s powerful enough to handle more serious jobs.
