This relaxing screensaver comes off as a bit too repetitive, but its attractive design helps compensate. As you’re likely to guess, 3D Ocean Sunset takes you over the open water as the sun sinks below the horizon. Occasionally, a few birds will make their way across the screen, but that’s really about the gist of the program.

Still, the application accurately conveys an awesome sunset, and the way the light reflects in the rippling water looks especially realistic. You can fine-tune the entire scene by tweaking the RGB color levels and adjusting brightness. We eventually found the rather grainy water sound effect and the calls of the birds annoying, so we were glad to find a tool for turning down the volume. It’s not action packed, but anyone who appreciates a good sunset is sure to enjoy this screensaver.
