Add different drum sounds to iGarage, even if you ll get lost in all the choices. But if you don t use iGarage, iDrum will satisfy you as a standalone. In seconds we set up and heard a beat we liked but had a little trouble finding any depth to this program. Then we pressed the i button and found access to the depths for each channel. There s no need to quantize. The eye-catching interface allows you to click boxes that activate rhythms by the sixteenth note for each channel, so rhythms are accurate from the get-go. Phat, as they say. It would be nice to have even a part of a help file with the demo. Without one, we wasted time getting into the program. Intermediate users will have a field day with iDrum, and advanced users will make the most of the hundreds of variations in tonal qualities for each sound channel.
