This silly and free screensaver makes a humorous Valentine’s Day pickup. Once you fire this program up, you’ll see a rotund cartoonish cupid flying all around your monitor, leaving a trail of hearts in his wake. Stupid Cupid himself isn’t all that large, so don’t expect highly detailed graphics. The sounds effects (which basically consist of periodic boings) get annoying quickly, so we appreciated the ability to turn them off. You’ll also find a slider for adjusting cupid’s speed and a button for turning off your desktop so the icons are invisible. Clearly this screensaver isn’t meant to be used on an everyday basis, but since it is totally free, you might want to have it on hand come next February.
