This alarm clock handles its main job well enough, despite offering little beyond its real-world brethren. Though some folks may like Black Alarm Clock’s dark color scheme, we wished the developer had included skins for altering its appearance. You won’t find many customization features here, though you can change the clock display’s font, size, and color if you don’t like the defaults. The utility can alert you by playing an audio file or a CD, launching a program, shutting down your PC, and, of course, using the traditional beep. However, we wish the clock would let you set more than one alarm at once. So long as you don’t expect anything special, Black Alarm Clock works well enough.
