This application can easily retrieve lost or deleted files on your hard drive, but the trial version only permits you to save one item. MediaRecover Pro’s well-designed, intuitive interface offers a three-step process for recovering files that’s easy enough for the novice to follow. You select a drive, then select All Files or specify a file type and go to the final step. The scan begins immediately, and results are displayed with name, location, size, type, and modification date. You can sort results by any column and tick the check box for files you want to save. Though you can only save the first item found using the demo version, it was quickly restored in our tests. The program also includes Format and Wipe tools to help you access or erase memory sticks.
